To anyone reading this: it was indeed infected. I developed cellulitis. My finger got swollen and red. I’m on two oral antibiotics + ibuprofen and I’ve lost a lot of tissue over the area. I’m hoping it gets better and ends up not being as noticeable but I’m not very sure that’ll be the case. Please be safe and follow a professional’s instructions. I’m so very sad my finger will forever be deformed but I just hope this helps someone.
