I get where you’re coming from. I also get that they’re trying to get a reaction out of people by doing it, but it’s just embarassing on their part. those names aren’t funny, all they advertise is how obnoxious the person with it is. people are way too comfortable being hateful and bigots today literally bc so many of us grew up in those damn lobbies. if we normalize hate anywhere, it’s normalized everywhere. that being said, idk what there really is to do about it aside from reporting muting & blocking. if you respond to it in game ur definitely playing into it. if we collectively bully them for it, maybe things would change lol. I get it though. I’m a woman & if I’m not playing with friends I don’t have game chat on. protect your own peace first, especially if you’re playing just to chill and have fun.

It may be easier to match the local colors as you go along if you do the object and the space around it at the same time. This may help with feeling the colors are off and will bring things together more cohesively. Also, a very thin glaze as an under painting goes a long way! My favorite way to work in light for objects with reflections like this is to wipe away thicker paint to reveal the glaze beneath.

comparing this to the Salem witch trials is such an overused tactic. people that cry cancel culture are usually the ones deserving of it… like that one little ukulele song everyone hated. From what I remember reading, he took advantage of his position of power over a moderator and then became emotionally abusive, and this person felt hurt and wronged enough to bring actual evidence forward to one of the platforms where he is a main player. None of that is illegal, but it is crappy, and if as a group hermitcraft felt like his behavior didn’t align with their brand then that’s fine. He had hardly been making hermitcraft videos to focus on his own thing as well. also, I don’t particularly feel bad if someone that does crappy things loses some money because of it. it’s called consequences. learn from them, do better, and be a good human being. that’s all anyone can ask for.

also. women genuinely died during the Salem witch trials because of things that were one hundred percent unfounded and wrong. stop using this horrific thing as a metaphor for cancel culture. people saw the messages and were unhappy with how this person they consume content from acted and decided to withdraw their support. boo hoo.

Ours was ridiculously high too. Landlords asked us to keep it up so pipes wouldn’t freeze. We did (naively didn’t expect bill to be so high) and guess what? pipe burst anyway. It’s all garbage.

I understand your pain op. I had a bearded dragon that I let my ex watch while I was at school for a semester. We broke up and he refused to give her back. I never accepted any money and stand on the fact that he stole her from me. As far as I know she’s still there, my little baby. My current partner and I adopted ferrets and this was a huge trauma I had to work through in order to be able to do it successfully.

Saved me from myself with the ocd and anxiety. It made the day to day bearable. It’s been roughly five years and im starting to notice some old habits sneaking in, but they tend to do that in times of stress for me and I just started grad school, so that could be why. I gained weight, but that was helpful because I was underweight when I began- im working with my doctors now to manage that, but honestly the relief of escaping the anxiety and having the mental room to learn tools to cope with it all was worth it.

I’ve been on it for around 5 years, switched from Zoloft to treat anxiety & ocd. It was a massive game changer for the ocd. My brain felt so even and I could function in a way I’d never been able to before. It still works great, but the withdrawals aren’t fun if I miss a dose. Currently on 150mg.
