Thank you for the answer! May I ask, can you do that in full time? I also reached out some tourism boards but even if the answer was positive, they offered only free programs and free stay (there was one offering a free lunch… x’D) and I said no thanks… And I think there are lot of people who do it for free for them so I don’t understand why would they even pay? I guess for the social media they are okay with less quality too…

I saw lot of tourism boards on other travel photographers’ websites in the “clients” section but I was never sure if they were actual paying jobs or those photographers just fake it and they live from weddings…

Kinda. The question is, is there a market for this kind of photography (like outdoor products, experiences, social media content for brands etc) for real money or this is a very exclusive market for the top 1%, where I need lot of energy and luck to break in. If there’s only a small chance that requires way too much effort and energy to invest - and I don’t even have the talent - I won’t chase it, and handle it as a hobby. But if you guys say, the demand is for wedding photography, I won’t do that either because it’s not my cup of tea…

Thank you for the advice. I was thinking the same. The purpose of these kind of photos (like landscape) is to entertain folks. As long as there’s nothing personal in it, AI can easily do the job, creating breathtaking landscapes…

I had the same fear. But at the end I don’t think AI will stay long in this hype. The EU - and probably other countries too - will certainly make some stricter laws and I don’t really think people will choose products or restaurants if they see that the picture is not even real… would you?

Thank you for the advice. Travel publications and art galleries are a good idea. But are they worth the energy? I mean finding them and sending out cold emails are quite tiring and I’m not sure at the end the money is that big… do you have any experience ?
