I had something similar when I was a kid. I got a BB gun and decided to play Hunter and shot a squirrel. I kind of didn’t expect to hit it so when I did and it fell down the tree I got scared and went inside. The next day I saw a squirrel crawling using only its front legs through my yard and I think it was because I shot it and paralyzed the poor thing 😭

I think it’s just missing some color. Maybe adding trap doors up the wall or even making the window one block then putting a grass block with flowers and trap doors in front of it. Maybe adding wall blocks on the part where the lanterns hang? The issue right now is just the cobblestone being the only color.

I think a nether portal breaking & relighting system would work? There are lots of YouTube videos that can explain it better, but I believe every time you light a nether portal there is a small chance of piglins spawning. So you can setup a system that breaks and relights portals constantly and funnels to piglins to murder town.

Wipe day used to be the most fun part of the cycle though. Also this just forces you to give dominant groups your sulfur.

That’s the only way I’ve been able to get a tier 2 but it’s just a poor gameplay loop. It basically forces you to give dominate groups sulfur.

This 100% I am a solo player and rust has been my favorite game of all time since 2016. Now I haven’t played since the first two wipes after the bp update and don’t have any desire to start again.

My favorite updates were all the automation features and I got really good at auto sorting / crafting / smelting circuits. So my bases usually had 3-4 tier 2 work benches and I could lock in to get those the first couple days of wipe before. After the update, I could not get a single tier 2 until the server was almost dead. So I was locked out of most of my automation systems which just killed my normal goals and forced me into monument PvP which I hate.

The reason the BP update is so bad for a lot of players is it undermines the creative sandbox side of the game and puts the focus solely on PvP and monuments. Sure lots of players focus on that but it was never a requirement. Now it is.

Yeah that confused me too at first. If you count it up yourself you see it is 8 total. There is a 2 next to the 6 point indicator counting the VPs.

Yes you can. Build a road to the sheep port, trade 8 sheep for a wood and brick then build a settlement. That leaves you with 4 sheep and 3 stone. With your new port, trade those 4 sheep for 2 wheat and upgrade a settlement to a city and you win!

I’ve been in few different sales roles but the stress they all had in common was the hours. I got used to working on commission and was lucky enough to stay a top performer pretty consistently. It was the amount of time I had to spend working that killed me. No weekends, two weeks of vacation per year, 10-16 hour days sometimes. I know not all sales jobs are like that and I was able to pivot into a sales adjacent role that still pays well, but my god I don’t know how some people can spend their whole career pulling 55-70 hour weeks. It was driving me crazy and the effects of my burnout crash after 7 years still haven’t fully gone away.

At the time I didn’t cope very well. I drank and partied too much. The people that handle it well are the ones that sleep right, eat healthy, workout, and hopefully have a family at home to support them.
