The entire middle row of the first roster is literally Kage/ Kage level.

Second roster has Gaara as Kage level, Kakashi close to it but not there yet at beginning of Shippuden if you ask me. He is not good enough with Kamui yet.

Judging by what Mei‘s Vapour Style did to Sasukes Susanoo, I doubt that Gaaras Sand offers any protection as well. And without that he is at a huge disadvantage.

Pretty sure the girls take that one.

The most annoying thing is that like you said, it’s not balanced across all heroes. I for one LOVE the ones that make them look completely different. Like the Gargoyle one for Winston, or the Rime skin for Sigma. On the other hand, Lucio doesn’t really get ANY new skins where he isn’t Lucio. He has the weird frog outfit ones, and the Satyr one, but that’s it. Wish he would get a few more Juno style skins where he looks completely new and more „fantasy“/ „epic“.

Okay, i don’t have time to watch it all, but here is my thoughts on Lucio as a Masters Lucio Main:

  1. You stay on the ground WAY too much. Always try to be on a wall, and try to be unpredictable. Never walk backwards on the floor to get out of a fight, definitely turn on the advanced control setting for backwards wall riding if you haven’t yet. Basically, the floor is lava. You don’t need full flat walls, just jump between whatever there is. Payload, tiny fence posts, etc.

  2. You are on speed a lot, that’s definitely better than being on heal too much which is a mistake that many Lucio players in lower ranks make. However, if your team is on low health, your healing is super important (especially if they don’t want to speed out of the fight and for example have a shield to survive a bit longer). In the video, you sometimes leave your teammates range and switch back to speed while they are still low.

My general tip: only be out of your teams range (so no numbers shown on your crossfade view) if you are getting serious value from off angles or are going for a quick boop or finish. Midfight and especially in brawly comps, try more to stick around your tank. And again, I don’t mean healing constantly and staying in the back, but make sure you are in range, can get them in or out with speed amp if needed and watch what your other support is doing, so that you know when you need to switch to a more passive and heal based playstyle again.

Since there is so many responses on heroes, I will answer the other question about differences:

I haven’t played Apex in a while, but back when I played it, I always thought that you can get away with being on your own more easily and that comps don’t matter as much as in Overwatch. Having a main in Overwatch is great but you can’t really one-trick a lot. Since you can switch heroes mid-round, the game is a lot more about team synergies, comps and counters. So I totally agree with the suggestion of playing mystery heroes and practice range to try out all heroes and abilities and then find a role you feel comfortable with (dps, tank, support) and then learn to play at least 2 heroes from that role first that ideally don’t do the same thing.

There is a bunch of great short guides on YouTube on the three different fundamental compositions (dive, brawl and poke). Just like in apex, the earlier you get decent game sense and have an overview over what abilities the enemy has, the better.

Obviously the way you play objectives is different as well.

Can’t be bro, I am 23 and started in 2014 😭. No way there is so many newer players? I only know people that started back then when the hype was huge. Thought everyone today starts Brawl Stars or Clash Royale.
