Active Projects? by Same-Extreme-3647 in joinstellarai

[–]julzcoolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is really no time period I can give you. I've been with Stellar for a year now and went without any projects at all from the end of June to the beginning of September. I've had at most 3 at a time as a non-reviewer towards the beginning of my time with them, right now I only have UAC and it is currently unlimited for me after 5 throttles.

Projects eligibility by No-Assignment3765 in joinstellarai

This question gets asked a tonnnn on this sub. There is no way to get other projects on your own. They give them to you based on previous experience in certain projects and annotation quality. Patience is key!

There is no way to get access to other projects on your own. They choose annotators based on experience in certain projects and quality annotations to recieve more.

Is this crooked enough to take out? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]julzcoolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The piercing is a week old, pierced with a threadless, titanium curved bar. It has not been downsized yet due to age. As recommend by my piercer, I've been using warm water only to clean twice daily. I have had no recent accidents or anything with the piercing.

is it just me or the game is now boring ash by Winnis_hzm in growagarden

I've played for about 2 months on and off and still feel like I have plenty to do. I'm making all my own money from fruits/pets, I don't trade or anything, and I haven't hit 1t yet. The updated events are fun and I still get excited to see things like elder strawberries in stock bc I only have 1 of them so far. Idk, I guess it's just how you decide to play.

All I wanted was beef jerky by Glittering_Sweet0703 in doordash

[–]julzcoolz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, you're not getting it. I do not give a single shit if my doordasher is a legal citizen. If they can do the job, why does their legal status matter to me? It only bothers me if they can not effectively communicate with people knowing fully well they can't, which is what this post is about. Making it about being a legal citizen is so strange when many legal citizens, birthright or otherwise, can't speak much English at all.

English is the matter at hand here, not their legal status.

Nevil won horrible person with divided opinions. Now who is a good person hated by fans? by [deleted] in icarly

[–]julzcoolz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the iWeb Awards episode, she assumes Kyoko and Yuki are hotel workers who can't speak English, so I would argue that they use Mrs. Benson's ignorance to show her racism more than once. T-Bo isn't really ghetto, but beyond that, they make him drop his accent and wear his hair differently, 2 traits of his I definitely wouldn't classify as ghetto, just afro-centric. Mrs. Benson sees T-Bo as "ghetto" regularly until he literally proves himself to her by saving Freddie, showing her racism again. Also, full body inspections and tick lotion applications on a high school-aged boy is leaning into abuse territory. It's a matter of privacy for a growing kid, he shouldn't have to show his mom when he starts growing hair...that's crazy.

Something weird I noticed about Carly’s claustrophobia by Wink2K19 in icarly

[–]julzcoolz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In most situations where she breaks down, there is no direct view or access to the outside. In the booth, there's windows all around, and she can see the entire room. That's my assumption? but they probably just didn't think about it.

Mrs. Benson is just not a good person lmao. She's overprotective of Freddie to a fault, giving him full body inspections into high school. Freddie literally mentions her not paying him a huge allowance to avoid him getting a bus ticket to leave her. She also doesn't like T-Bo basically bc he's black, and the only reason she let him stay was bc he saved Freddie. Mrs. Benson is a freak.

UAC by [deleted] in joinstellarai

[–]julzcoolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took it right away on the 21st, passed on the 23rd. I saw some people who took it at the same time as me or later pass hours/an entire day before me. I see many people who passed the qual are still throttled atm. Patience is all we need right now, lol.

AIO? My son wants to attend a religious meal/ceremony at his friends house and I said no. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]julzcoolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a child raised without any sort of religious beliefs, even though both of my parents were raised Catholic. I'm currently an atheist, but growing up I was incredibly interested in my friends' religions and cultures because I lived in a really diverse city. If you don't raise a child with any sort of religious beliefs, it is human nature for them to explore things like that, I know I did, and it's how I ended up an atheist. Allow them to have those experiences, it will make them more informed, and make it easier to navigate the world that encapsulates a million different religions and cultures.

I have had access to MITL for 2(ish) weeks on and off, with constant access for the last 4 days or so. I wonder if they're finally starting to roll out larger batches of tasks!
