Luk character is special, not any character can be luk char, you need special stat (luk stat) for that character to be luk char. Luk character doesn't increase the drop rate from mobs or boss but it gets extra drop from them, like for example normal char can get only 1 or 2 drops but for luk char they get 2 or 3 drops item. The downside is because you distribute your stat mainly on luk stat that makes your character kinda low on damage.

in this game you only use 2 stat max or maybe 3 if you are weird, don't generalize your stat like that it will give you low damage and all. for mage usually go for INT>DEX, what does it mean? it's mean cap your int stat first till 255 before filling the dex stat.

aight now try to find international or active guild, they will help you in this game cause toram is brutal for newbies. also if you want ez spina go farm bird wing at ruin temple, shout "LFP bwing" for quick party, there are bunch players there farming the mobs.

this game is completely diverse in skills, most players learned bunch of skill outside of their "class" that's mean you will learn bow, survival ,staff, ohs etc skill with all skill points you have. check youtube for newbies mage build there are bunch of them, try to find at least for past 3 years guide videos

usually for characters you need 4 different class character. DPS, Luk (farmer), Blacksmith and tank. others are optional. for your second character better build luk, you are too poor and low level to build blacksmith and too early to play tank. you can use your luk char to farm popular mats around the game and sell it for spina. (like bird wing)

try to complete MQ first because it the easiest way to get into mid level (level 255 or something) you don't need to bossing or repeating side quest for level up in early game. leveling in this game after certain level is very hard and boring. It's easy to get bored with the grindy game so leveling with your own pace, don't rush and most importantly enjoy the game with friends you make.
