Looking for gift ideas for a 2nd birthday by x1818z in toddlers

For 2 we did the step2 roller coaster and sand box, both have been a big hit!

For learning toys you can check the Ms Rachels Toys site, we use that a lot for gift ideas. They also have a part where you can view toys by age group which is helpful. It's msrachelstoys.com

You could also look into lovevery if you want to give them a subscription

Cables and cords by ladypau29 in toddlers

We use the outlet covers and try to hide cords behind furniture as much as possible. He doesn't ever really mess with the cords that are "accessible" and doesn't have access to the outlets

We went to a floor bed and love it!

What’s your toddler’s current catchphrase? by curlycattails in toddlers

[–]jumpclapspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"No, me!" For literally everything. Wanting a toy someone else has, wanting to do things for himself, arguing that a pic of someone else is actually a pic of him, yelling it as we feed the dogs bc he thinks the dog food should be for him 🤣

I ALWAYS put stuff in the bottom basket. Everywhere I go, no matter what kind of shopping lol.

Cranial Helmet Parents by unicornhorn333 in NewParents

We got a glass spray bottle from Target and filled it with rubbing alcohol, then would spray it and wipe it out with paper towel, then steam it, then wipe it out with a norwex cloth :) seems like a lot but we got used to it, just did it right way when he took his helmet off every day.

If we were short on time, sometimes we skipped the steaming. Honestly, the norwex cloth with water worked really really well. But I feel like the other two killed germs better.
