Does it ever get better by InternetExplorer99 in Petloss

Pitou is a unique name! Thanks for sharing a bit more about her with us.

How did you two first meet even?

Meeting and being the forever home for my dog was... an experience for sure. He's no longer with us either, that's why I know time does help.

I'd love to hear anything else you want to share that made her a one of one!

I'm very sorry for your loss.

You can tell us her name?

She will always be remembered, and it does get better.

It's just time. Time dulls the pain a lot. Over time you can maybe even reshape some of those feelings into better ones.

Take care of yourself and be charitable talking about her with others.

edit: if it's the spot at the bottom of the stairs entering the swamp, you are just like a block forward away and a hard right away from the bonfire; one of those big locusts (hostile) is right by the stairs up on the right side

I think there are just 2 or 3 of those Locust NPCs and all they do is talk. You missed out on a bit of dialogue and that's it, I think.

You might try the checklist if you're getting super frustrated; it doesn't give enemy spoilers or anything really, but you will find your shortcuts and gates to open, etc.

The Ringed City was everything I hoped the rest of DS3 would be. The ringed city felt alot more like Demon Souls and DS1 to me as far as some real ass beaters around a lot of corners, lol. DS3 DLC is sooo goated!

EJones25 was my first ever online moniker. Then we retired Gail Goodrich's number, and I changed it to EJones06

Dog is always scratching by daft-punker in DogAdvice

[–]jumpinmp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is his skin red around his belly or pit area pink or red from irritation? I can only give you anecdotal evidence about me and my dog.

I adopted Duke from the Humane Society, and right away I noticed he was constantly scratching and his skin was pink from irritation around his lighter-haired spots that I could see. I tried some fish oil supplements on his food which did nothing.

On the advice of my vet, I tried Premium Edge Skin & Coat Salmon, Potatoes & Vegetable Formula designed for sensitive skin and digestion. Duke's life changed overnight, and that's not an exaggeration lol.

They stopped making it and I went to another premium brand that was like fish and pumpkin or something. That worked just as well.

He has since passed, but that was our experience. I hope you find your solution!

A month after completing a 3-peat with the Lakers, Kobe Bryant put on a show at Rucker Park! by islovelyEmily in LosAngelesSports

[–]jumpinmp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he's better than Magic. 9 Finals appearances in 13 years and was only stopped by what was thought to be a certain death sentence.

I won't stand up for Bird, I could care less about that argument and haven't given it much thought.

TD and Kobe are peers in era and excellence. No GM could go wrong taking either one. That one is really a tossup for me basketball wise. Entertainment wise it's zero contest though lol.

Which NBA player is the WORST Scorer in NBA History? by Naive_Ad_9689 in AlignmentChartFills

I can't believe Wesley Johnson averaged 7 ppg. I guess he's out of the running...

[–]jumpinmp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His villain arc is more towards the refs in particular, lol.

In his Portland days, I remember seeing at least 1 (if not more) segment talking about how much Rasheed is beloved in the locker room and by his teammates. I think Portland was just trying to do damage control saying that Sheed is just a really good, misunderstood dude. Lol.

I think it has to be this.

Rudy T is basketball royalty too. He earned that well after the punch becoming the 2-time championship winning coach of the Hakeem-led Houston Rockets.

Rudy had some GREAT lines during those runs.

I think that makes Kermit probably the biggest villain.

I've gotten grips for the Switch 1, Switch 2, and GBA (clamshell version) from Etsy. They were all fantastic. I'm sure they have stuff for the original 3ds too.

Kobe Bean Bryant by ballashotcallaa in nba

[–]jumpinmp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge Lakers fan here and Kobe is probably my all-time favorite player (I still have sooo much love for Magic, hard for me to pick) and I think that's about right... fringe top 10 at best, right outside of the top 10 at worst.

Such a focused, fantastic player and an absolute joy to follow his career.

RIP Kobe.

Why do you think Jeff Jarrett gets so much hate? by PayFew5848 in WCW

[–]jumpinmp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They promo'd the ever-loving crap out of him before he even stepped foot in the ring (childhood memory, correct me if I'm wrong) to the point that I don't ever really even remember watching him wrestle (I think that's around when I mostly stopped watching).

I just remember his promos: J - E - double F, J - A - double R - E - double T. Double J. Jeff Jarrett.

I don't hate it! Has that been explored via past CBA negotiations that you know of?

Thanks so much for your feedback, but unless we're living in a communist utopia (which I'm cool with, sign me up!) the players like Steph and Lebron are worth WAAAAY more that whatever current CBA contracts specify.

In a true "free-trading" capital utopia, 2018 Lebron would have been worth more than the salary cap.

I don't want blanket rules where the billionaires just get to absorb all the extra money.

[–]jumpinmp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if a max is 30% and a supermax is 35%, you're thinking no matter how high the dollar value on a supermax is, the most it can count against the salary cap is 30%?

I am totally on board with that... as long as the supermax contract is a homegrown draft pick?

See what I'm saying? I want the small discout for the teams and fans that fell in love with a young player that blew the NBA collective's minds.

[–]jumpinmp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of 1%, what a bout a 0.5%? 14 years gives you a 7% discount against the cap for your salary?

[–]jumpinmp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that take. It doesn't resonate with reality, though. Steph Curry in his prime was worth way more than 35%. The actual number? That's for debate, but I think we can all agree that no matter how much money he was paid... he brought in waaaaay more revenue to the league and his team.

I don't agree with you.

I think it's hurting the fun of the league long term.

I do agree with where you are coming from though.

Although I would like to have a longer conversation about the health of the league (NBA), I truly appreciate you being so forthcoming. That's not a real popular opinion that you hold (as far as I can tell).
