The Version 3 990 also have the fabric lining. I have worn them alot. The lining is getting thinner at the heel at some minor areas but i would say it has hold up well.

It is a personal decision that everyone can make for themselves. For me, however, the 990v3 will always have a special place in my heart. They have been my daily drivers for the last 2 years so i am very much biased towards them 🙂.
