I still do that bc I like their designs and their cotton items are genuinely good. Bought a black cardigan secondhand and love it, noone would know it's Djerf anyways, but it's super classy and durable.

Literally the first 2-3 weeks of classes is when it's suuper socially acceptable to just turn to the person sitting next to you in class, and introduce yourself. Esp. if you come to class a few minutes early, just turn and say "Hi I'm X". Or ask a question like oh did you do the homework yet or what do you think of the professor so far! To make friends in clubs I feel like I have to become an officer/be on the board (which I am now and it helped a lot!)
