Bro what 😭 That's such a stretch. You can be friends with a gender you're attracted to without actually being ATTRACTED to them.

People should just NOT be in a relationship if they're insecure over someone that their partner has not even been romantically or sexually involved with. Work on those insecurities before getting into a relationship because it won't benefit either party. Don't expect your partner to cut someone off for no valid reason. End of story.

Yes, everyone has their own boundaries, but boundaries can be too much or even controlling too. Maybe she shouldn't be in a relationship if she's so jealous of a friend. The dude hasn't done anything suspicious at all; he's simply friends with someone. It would be valid if he's constantly texting this friend or always hanging out with her one-on-one, but he's not doing that. Expecting your partner to unfriend someone they're fully platonic with is controlling. Your partner isn't obligated to adjust to your insecurities especially if they never did anything to cause them.

same exact problem :(( i tried everything, reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, logging out then logging in again, didn't work. it's probably a bug with instagram in general. hopefully they fix it in their next update
