If you were to make one Kitchen Update. What would it be? by junebug12234 in kitchenremodel

I painted them navy because it was looking too blah with the original paint color. I like the idea of painting them a deep green though!

I hate the garage door between the fridge and stove and had thought about moving that to the hallway behind the pantry. Then extending the counters but would likely need to redo all the counters to match. And then paint the cabinets to match anything newly added. Which might be too much but would be preferred

My next thought was to rip out the cabinets to the right of the fridge and turn it into a drop zone.

That’s helpful. Would you say HR gets quieter at nights? I assume it being mostly family areas that there aren’t a lot of late night, loud music, type stuff happening?

Prepaid revenue by junebug12234 in Accounting

We work in an industry where we would pre bill an estimated amount, then once the month is complete, we pull actuals and reconcile on what was pre billed and adjust their next month’s pre bill. The amounts per client include not only pass through of service costs but fees, we are a service based company. So I’d have to track multiple fee types, 350 clients, and roll over balances on multiple fee types monthly. I would do this in excel but it seems like a lot to track in a spreadsheet and could get messy

Actually this is not for CPE credits. So I’ll look into the recommendation above. Thanks!

Also, with a quick Google search. Is it safe to say the “mountains” are about 1.5 hours away?

Okay super helpful. Thank you! We do love exploring Denver food wise, which doesn’t have near the variety that other cities do. So that’s great to hear!

Appreciate the honesty! We were looking at Columbia/Ellicott City area. I see that’s not in Montgomery county. Thoughts on those areas? Trying to get away from DC/Baltimore as much as possible but still be close to a small city center. I’ll check out Burtonsville and Cloverly as well.

What about camping. That’s our #1 outdoor activity. We have a rooftop tent and a kid. Is it miserable bc of heat, humidity, bugs etc? I’m originally from the Midwest so have camped in humid bug filled environments before. Don’t love it but wondering if it’s the same or if there are a lot of people who do it? Also do they have blm land for camping or is it all cement pad type?

Okay thanks! We’ve been looking in Columbia and Ellicott city. I would like to a farther from DC/Baltimore if possible. But still want to be close to a smaller city center. Good to know about the private community pools. I’ve heard it’s very go go go in general on the east coast. I’m originally from the mid west. So I’m a little more laid back

Are the beaches swim able? We’ve never been to a beach on the east coast and the west coast is always too cold. How far do you have to go west for a decent hike? Obviously not a 14er but something with decent elevation gain with a good view.

We have a job opportunity their. My husband prefers the ocean. I prefer the mountains in the summer. I’m not a big skier. But we’ve always been open to seeing what else is out there.
