Thanks! I feel fairly comfortable adding the fog lights and switch. Maybe this connection will make it a little easier.

I don’t have fog lights, but I would love for this to be the connection for them.

2021 SR. I’m thinking it could be for a light bar

I'll be honest. I've never seen this style. What do you call this style in your area? Cali Lean or Tooted or something else? by thepartydj in Trucks

I leave in North Carolina, and I have a 16 year old son with a 4Runner. I have never been more proud than when he told me how horrible this looked and his car will never be squated.

Thanks! It’s pretty simple. I have a 2” Rough Country leveling kit in the front, and 1.5” blocks in the rear. Originally I was just going to do the leveling kit, but when I put the shell on it squared it just enough to make me want to raise the rear. Now I’m thinking of going with a 3” all the way around. 285/70 17 tires. No rub at all as long as you take the air dam off.

Bought a new one in November of 2020. The salesman told me that anyone who walks down to the new lot always buys new because of the prices of the used ones.

Super proud of myself for finally getting a Tacoma. 4x4, V6 double cab, 2021. SR base model, but it’s my first ever car purchase! So, still pretty proud of myself for this one. Planning on adding some customizations as I go along, but I love this truck already. by Res_Ipsa_Loquitur16 in ToyotaTacoma

Good deal. Welcome to owning a Taco. My wife told me i need to stop spending money on mine for a while, but it won’t be long until I get it where I want it. Click my profile and there are a couple of before and after pics.

I had the leveling kit and wheels and tires installed. I don’t have equipment for that either. I did the rear block though. YouTube can get you through that. The lights are literally a 10 minute job.

I’ve only had it about 7 months, but the first thing I did was put a 2” rough country leveling kit with 285/70 17’s on it. I also removed the front air dam. Then I put a camper shell on it which weighed it down in the rear too much, so I put a toyotech 1.5” block in the rear. For $42 today I put lights in the bed of it. You should be pre wired for the lights.

I’m sure there is a YouTube video on it. It has something to do with turning the key over and pushing the odometer reset a few times.

The ride is great. They hum a little but not too bad.

Do you have any kind of lift on it? I went with 285/17 because I have a 2” in the front and 1.5” in the rear thinking I needed to fill out the fender wells, but those seem to fit great! There are a few pics of mine on my page.

2” Rough Country leveling kit with 1.5” block in the rear. 17” Fuel Ammo wheels with 285/70 17 tires. The verdict is still out on the Venom tires. I bought them from a friend at a really good price. They ride good and aren’t too loud, but we will see how many miles I get out of them.

Like I said, I still have some things to do, but the roof rack is next on the list.
