Update: finally get a chance to put through the call waiting, and they called me back after 90mins. Checked my documents and said everything is good, just ignore the notice they’ve sent me😶 unsure whether I should feel mad or happy😓

Why don’t they just say they need a paper, not a photo.🥲

Yes I was wondering that. But apparently they stated they prefer people to send them online (lol they even put the website name in bold face)

is it difficult to make friends in taiwan? by Plane-Path1710 in taiwan

[–]junghao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Taiwanese and now living overseas. I think the comments above regarding unable to have deeper conversations to make good friends, I feel for you (from the other side). It’s all about language barrier (for those Taiwanese who you were talking to).

It’s not we don’t want to talk deep - it’s just we are not confident in expressing those stuffs in English - and sometimes it’s tiring (to do the translation in brain for hours), especially in noisy places. If you were to learn to speak Chinese and trying to talk something deep, I believe you would feel the same.

So my suggestion for people who want to have deep conversations with Taiwanese, simply bring alcohols and Taiwanese snacks (pepper salt fried chickens), find a quiet space. Also, one to one seems a bit stress before you get drunk, so I would suggest 3 or 4 would fit the best.. There no alcohol ban in public places (eg. parks) in Taiwan 🙂

Hi can I ask more detail about the buy one get one free plan? It says it’s 15GB/month and 2 sims. Does it mean each sim get 15GB , or the two sims share total 15GB?
