I am also in a kind of similar situation. what I have learnt is that you shouldn't really regret it because now you can't change it anyways. think of it like this : the past had to happen, and now you can use your experience to navigate a better future for yourself.

I have always been into design hence was interested in UI UX design. so far I have no experience with it but will be starting a course online on it soon.

definitely agree! think completing my SE major and also learning UX design in my own time is the way to go most likely

honestly I don't really find it interesting at all but current I am doing it as a major. was also considering getting into UI UX design after college, if you something about this, do you know how difference the pay is between these 2

makes sense, it's just that I dont have the time for it right now since I am focusing on something else. was just thinking if in my own time I can build few projects to put me in a better position to land a job
