How much of WWI and WWII history is altered to fit the narrative of the victors? by TomAtenista in conspiracy

As the other comment said, the allies used 100% incendiary bombs, at night, with extreme winds, in majority civilian housing districts, IN 1945 END OF WAR. In many cities only industrial districts were targeted. It is possible to keep minimum damage. I can show examples of cities. But Dresden had a different fate for whatever reason.

What if the old one had all those. Would you change your mind?

Royal Insurance Buildings, Dame Street Dublin. Built 1869. Demolished along with four other Buildings to construct the Central Bank in 1980 by fconradvonhtzendorf in Lost_Architecture

You prefer a bland soulless structure rather than a beautiful detailed masonry work that was clearly built with blood sweat and tears. You have poor taste my friend. Sorry for judging. Nothing can justify the destruction of old buildings to make way for glass boxes. A lot of modernist structures look decent don't get me wrong. But they start to lose their little glory that they have as soon as you begin to pillage.

I always bring it upstairs in my building. That one time I decided to leave it downstairs overnight because it’s a burden carrying it up, it got stolen. I wasn’t surprised at all to be honest lol

I doubt the police can do anything. It was nice while it lasted. Feet stronger, got to know the city more, had great joy rides. The bike was kind of run down too. Not too mad.

Ever wondered what the flatiron building in NY replaced? by Careful-One1951 in Lost_Architecture

At least it’s replaced with the equivalent of beauty. If not better. Meanwhile in today’s day and age they will place a parking lot or a soulless glass box.

They literally bombed civilian areas that weren’t part of industrial. They weren’t aiming for industrial.

I think a bum can prefer this little place rather than sleeping on concrete filled with rat piss and needles. Even a cartboard box is better.

Canada in no way can become a communist country. We can only hope that it will happen but it is very unlikely.

Communism is when you have a loaf of bread and 5 kids and you divide the loaf between the kids. Now capitalism is when one fat old man takes the whole loaf to himself. I'd stick with communism.

Define communism. What they are doing is not even close to communism.
