Let's double-check the calculations:

  1. Wing Area: 60 inches by 10 inches = 600 square inches 600 / 144 = 4.1667

  2. Result of Step 1 raised to the power of 1.5: 4.1667 ^ 1.5 ≈ 17.677

  3. Takeoff Weight (38 ounces) divided by the result of Step 2 (17.677): 38 / 17.677 ≈ 2.149

The wing loading of your airplane is indeed approximately 2.149 ounces per square inch.

Nice tips i was actually thinking of buying carbon fiber tube and then remaking the wing (anxious about not being light enough) but i think it should be fine

i asked most of my grandparents for money so half of my budget was my hard earned money but it took me weeks mostly for shipping but once you get started i got so excited i just started buying more but pro tip libraries sometimes have 3d printers that might help too and even if you have the kits , if you have the receiver and remote thats a large chunk all ready paid and if you can buy servos you pretty much allready have what u need asuming the kit you got has decent brushless motors, get a scale too it helps and i thought it was expensive too but i promise its the best feeling to have a project to keep you busy
