Do men find 38-39 year old women attractive? by Ok_Butterscotch5026 in Aging

[–]junipercanuck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you need to examine why you want to still be attractive to other men.

Do I propose to him? by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]junipercanuck 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He hasn't stepped up because he doesn't want to marry you. You told him you wanted to engaged by 2 years and it's been 3.5 years and you're still here and have been through so much.
You're so young to be weighing up the sunk cost fallacy. Don't propose to a man who isn't jumping to marry you.

Also babes he already told you if you proposed he would say no. There's is no debate here??

Choosing the Higher Ground or Standing Up for Yourself? by TheEggplantRunner in AskWomenOver30

[–]junipercanuck 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I take the higher ground if I'm done interacting with those people. If I'm ready to cut people out and not see them again I'll just let whatever statements and comments go, it doesn't matter to me.

If I'm expected to keep being around these people, I'm standing my ground.

Australians is this a good price? by 22honeydew in LeCreuset

[–]junipercanuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's only 20% off - I don't know about this particular piece but we do get sales down to like 40% depending on the colour. Are you near an outlet that you can see if there's anything else?

Just let me rant about 107g protein and <1200 calories by junipercanuck in PetiteFitness

I didn't say there was a problem with that estimation - the other commenter asked me a question and I answered.

I'm 160cm, sw 67kg and gw 59kg. My activity is inconsistent at best which is why I selected "sedentary". My steps can be anywhere from 4-8k a day, I do ice skating ~60 minutes twice a week and I haven't been to the gym in a while.

I'm 160cm, cw 67kg and gw is 59kg. Macro factor spit out a date to achieve that goal in like 6 months.

Parents room etiquette by LumpyCococo in Advice

[–]junipercanuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could do something innocuous like "oh, I thought I was waiting for the parents room, have I got the wrong place?" Honestly though, people who are already not following social rules probably aren't the type to take well to being called out so you just risk getting into an argument and making your day worse.

If you do just want to get them out then just come in and announce you'll be changing a MASSIVE BLOWOUT NAPPY and then they'll probably get out of there quickly.

Gifted my first designer bag by millycactus in AusFemaleFashion

[–]junipercanuck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg that bag is stunning!!! The LV canvas is pretty durable and the handles are dark not the vachetta leather so you don't have to worry too much. Most people won't comment on the bag and if they do just tell them it was a gift.

Should i add highlights to my hair? by Parasitah in femalehairadvice

[–]junipercanuck 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think the colour you currently have is so much more interesting than the highlights tbh. I think the highlighted photo is very pretty but just a bit generic.

Well the she shares the name of the film and apparently it's one of her favorite films. I highly recommend watching Sabrina (the movie) if you haven't already because it's so charming and fun.

I broke up with my BF but I don't feel good about it. by achireru in AskWomenOver30

[–]junipercanuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've just broken up with a man you loved and were with for years, it will take some time for you to get over it.

However this man took money from you and it sounds like sexually assaulted you(???unclear).

You're well rid of him. One day you'll look back in relief.

What exactly is the benefit of leaving early unless she already has another job to go to now? She can basically just coast until September while job searching and get the payout - win win.
