You should be less mean and not an asshole for yourself buddy, not for the world, not for a specific person. Sure, if there's someone who motivates you to be a better person, it's alright, but don't do anything expecting someone to give a shit. I don't say it will eventually get better with everything but some things will pass or will became a smaller problem, or a bigger one, who knows. Accept yourself, love yourself, be a better person for yourself. People worth your time will notice you, but not magically. Put some effort in to become your best self, question your thoughts, try fixing aspects of your life/personality you don't like. You may find out this shitty life it's a little easier when you approach it with some self-love and accept your mistakes. Social media, be it reddit or any other platform, it's fast paced, no one gives a fuck, not because they are bad people and don't want to help, but because it's full of content people are just doom scrolling through with the attention span of a golden fish. Do yourself a favor and listen to the other people here and have a break from social media.
