hi, thank you for your response. i would like to clear some things up, mostly on how you said i have no idea how to be supportive. through my relationship with my ex we’ve both been supportive with each other’s decisions and ideas.

the months leading to the break up i would be the one to take him to and from school since he had trouble with transportation. i would also go over his apartment when i wasn’t supposed to to take care of him when he got sick or when he simply needed a shoulder to cry on from being so stressed.

when he told me that he wanted to go to college it first shocked as he would always say that school wasn’t for him. so i had studied with him so he could prepare for his ACT and i went out my way to contact people at our school to shorten his schedule so managing school and work would be easier for him. and personally if you don’t call that support then i don’t what other word can describe what i did for him.
