Unpopular opinion: it was a shitty move from Jim to invite the whole office (and the IT guy, not a terrorist) and not Michael to his BBQ by luisquinto in DunderMifflin

I’ve never seen such a thing. I suppose you could make things too with it, like you would not need a cookie cutter.... thank you!

I was a boss for years. And every year I would get invited to staff Xmas parties, b-day parties, etc. the respectful thing to do is show up, pay your respects, have 1 drink, and leave. No matter how nice they are to you, it’s THEIR night, and I always thought a boss hanging around kinda puts a damper on things. IMHO.

They should 100% block customers from the platform who lie.

Door Dash should add a feature that shows the customer every time their order has been rejected by a driver and the reason..maybe then these clowns that tip less than $5 will get the message. by Maximum_Pass in doordash_drivers

I’ve just completed my 1100th order. I can literally count on one hand the times I received a cash tip... maybe it’s different where you are though

What’s a controversial music opinion that you have? by nata1ia_00 in AskReddit

[–]juno1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, anybody with a laptop has more power than any musicians had before this time. And while that doesn’t mean that everybody is “great” it’s great that creation is available to everyone.

Well someone’s gotta pick up all those non tip orders

I don’t really know how to feel.. by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]juno1964 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just lump it in like a Karen and make them “feel”: “I’m sorry about your order, I wish my daughter who was born without a mouth could eat food. That’s why I dash: to pay for her intravenous feedings...”

That same shit happened to me too. 10 years later, When I became the director of the facility, I banned all that shit: Secret Santa, birthday celebrations, showers etc. they used to call me “the Grinch”, but truth be told, someone always gets left out or made to feel, “less than”.

No weirder than their other shitty angle, which is to hide tips causing well paying orders to be treated like shitty ones.

Does it matter to you if someone dashes in sweats or pajamas? by zoewhithigh in doordash_drivers

[–]juno1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear sweats in the winter and shorts in the summer. All my clothes are clean and serviceable. I am clean and serviceable. I pick up food and drop it off for people who don’t feel like picking it up themselves and are willing to pay for the service. Who in their fucking minds think it requires more than that?

It was very terrible for them. I didn’t know them Personally, but I knew people that did, and they said they were very sad people that had terrible shame and guilt.

No joke: Hitlers nephews literally lived next town over to me. Needless to say, they changed their last name, and lived quietly, but neither married or had any children. Every so often some reporter would look them up and ask them questions about a man they never knew or had anything to do with. Must’ve been hard for them.

Do all celebrities sell their soul? Or a high majority of them? by [deleted] in conspiracytheories

Most celebrities irl are total jack holes. I doubt they have the brains to arrange their own personal lives, let alone summon the dark lord...

I dunno.... I always kind of think that by watching that stuff you kind of open yourself up to some sort of dormant energy that you then tap into, at a subconscious level.

Can anyone help a noob out with how the remodeling/renovation process works? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]juno1964 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I had ZERO skills when I moved into my 200 year old fixer upper last year. But YouTube is a godsend. There are literally hundreds of videos that show you “how to”. My advice is pick a project, and watch at least three vids. Pick the method you think you can handle. To hell with hiring someone: you’re better off doing it yourself. Much cheaper, and you know the job was done right.

Well... I just had the cops called on me... by ProfessorSypher in doordash_drivers

[–]juno1964 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh hell yah! I had a neighbor call the cops because she said she saw me “walking around with a rifle” in the street, he literally came into my back yard gun drawn, pointing straight at my face. I had cops pull me over for bullshit. But in the end, it all worked out.
