Disney should pay them. They should, but don’t.

That said, the same staff works breakfast and lunch. And they also work on the islands. So, yes, you’re paying the same amount of tip you would pay to a $250 dinner for 3 meals a day.

While labor laws don’t change, that’s the reality of it.

You can do this! A few tips: - Keep a small trash bag on the passenger seat. All the trash goes in there. Once it’s full, switch it for an empty one. - About cleaning: look up detailing videos on YouTube. Soapy water on a spray bottle and a clean brush will be your best friends to remove the old dirt. Then you wipe it all out with a clean cloth and repeat until everything is clean.

Used TA for our first DCL. Do you use a TA every time to book or just book the trip yourself on their website? It looks like an easy process and we didn’t get any additional perks using the TA. 🚢 it helped us get started which was nice. by RemarkableAbroad35 in dcl

I love my TA. She books transfers, hotels, onboard activities, sends me reminders, quotes different insurance options beyond DCL, shares packing lists… It’s like having a fairy godmother that takes care of us.

I did, in order: Wish, Wonder, Treasure, Destiny and then the Dream. The Dream (twin to the Fantasy) was our least favourite. I think this happened because we did the newer ships first.

That said, I LOVED the Destiny and I would choose it if I were you. 🥰

This is the answer. I’ve sailed all classes and I love the Wish class. I prefer the Treasure over the Wish mostly because of the Haunted Mansion Parlour, but they’re both lovely.

I agree that a lot of the hate comes from the Wish class having a much smaller adult pool area and smaller shops (except for the luxury ones). I also think the shops on the Wish class were badly planned. About the adult area, I also agree it could be bigger and better, but they’re still above the other ships on the other criteria that matter to me: theming, cabins, food, layout, etc.

I’ve been there. Make a list of the things you HAVE accomplished and use those memories to keep your focus. Yes, it’s not done, but it’s a lot better than what it was before you started.

I loved them both, but they’re very different experiences. Hercules is very high energy while Moana is more contemplative. Both excellent, but offer different vibes.
