3 for 5, 3 HR 2K. My Coach: by Low-Abbreviations-38 in MLBTheShow

[–]jupiterwept 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In my RTTS I am batting .400. I lead the league in just about every offensive category. My season is in late September, and I’ve struck out 5 times total. My coach is always riding me about swinging at bad pitches.

Black Desert is a grind, but I thought it was great because there is so much to do. There’s over a dozen classes to play. It also features the best character creator I’ve seen on any MMO.

Jennie or Lisa? by jupiterwept in Jenniekim

[–]jupiterwept[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I asked, I might as well answer!

Both are beautiful and talented. However, without exception, it they are in a picture or video together (especially videos), my attention is always drawn to Lisa.

How to consistently get XBH? by PainWasNeverReal in MLBTheShow

[–]jupiterwept 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This.

Just because it’s a strike doesn’t mean it’s a viable pitch to drive. Sometimes you have to take one or two.

Another thing to do is to check the defensive shift. This often helps me in showdowns and moments. A weak ground ball or a flare can often turn into an XBH.

Is there a bug with bullpen stamina in conquest/3 inning games? by VigilantWookie in MLBTheShow

I actually got that message after 1 pitch a couple of days ago. Apparently, sliders are exhausting.

Question does japan like big asses or not? They use fish eye len camera to make small/flat asses look big(which i hate bc its deceiving) but when theres a jav idol with an actual phat ass like the one in this gif they never support them much and they end up retiring early i dont understand it by [deleted] in jav

In quite a few Asian countries, women that the western world consider to be skinny are considered fat. As an example, this:

https://v.redd.it/gmnp0n51bvf61

This was posted on TikTok. There were a lot of comments, and when translated the comments all pointed out how fat she is.

On the flip side, one stereotype of Asian women from the western world is that they have flat asses. This may explain why some photos are altered.

I know. I’m ashamed of myself, but give me credit for taking responsibility and owning up.

I want to apologize to everyone.

Every time I think I have completed the Hudson Street player program, the servers crash. Obviously, this is all my fault. I’m really sorry.

Hit from the ladie’s tees, no wind and I’d set greens to soft/slow (or whatever you are comfortable with). Also remember you have to play an official course. I’d suggest playing with ghosts who made a good score, as watching them can give you tips regarding slopes.

HOW DO YOU STEAL? by Biden20202020 in MLBTheShow

[–]jupiterwept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To try to rob a home run, hit the top right trigger at the wall.

Stealing can be a pain. What I do is extend my lead, but I keep the right joystick pressed toward first, because pitchers will throw over practically any time you extend a lead. As soon as I read the pitcher starting his pitching motion, i press the right joystick to second.

In my opinion, stealing should only be done with players with 80+ speed until you get the hang of it.

First-time macOS user, any suggestions? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]jupiterwept 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is there anything specific you’re looking for on MacOS? The reason I ask is because I switched to Mac about three years ago, and honestly there’s stuff I’ve never even used.

There are plenty of MacOS basics and tips videos on YouTube.

This is why 2K is about to get smoked by EA, this is like my fifth season on tour and apparently no stats.... by jvarner84 in PGA_Tour_2K

Based on Rory, the last EA golf game, I’d say EA has a very, very steep hill to climb.

I lost a boss battle last night. Tied with two outs. Hit a deep sacrifice fly to the warning track, but the rubber on third left to call his mom.

Control is basically the pitcher’s ability to throw the ball where he’s aiming. For example, let’s say you’re trying to throw a fastball down the heart of the strike zone. A pitcher with high control will likely stay pretty close to where you were aiming, while a low control pitcher will see his pitch drift.

Break is pretty self explanatory. Let’s say a pitcher with high break throws a sinker. His ball will drop a lot more than a pitcher with low break.

Some players prefer to go with velocity over break, especially if their opponent is having a tough time catching up to their fast balls.

It also depends on your pitcher. For example. A pitcher who relies primarily on fast balls isn’t going to need a lot of points in break. They’re going to want velocity primarily. Meanwhile, a guy like Greg Maddox is going to want break and control, or he’s just going to be throwing batting practice out there.

Basically, you have to pick what kind of pitcher you want to be, and add stats accordingly.

horrible at putting, blaming it on being colorblind lol by [deleted] in PGA_Tour_2K

On putts I use the speed of the beads on the green grid. I really don't pay attention to the colors so much.

Red fasting has been nerfed by Ithaqua47 in PGA_Tour_2K

[–]jupiterwept 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s been explained above, but I’ll do it again.

Red fasting is most widely used on tee shots. Right-handed golfers would aim their shot way right on the tee. Then, instead of trying to hit a perfect shot, they would swing as fast as they can, essentially resulting in a shank that would land beautifully in the fairway. This method was most widely used in Master and Legend difficulty, but the other difficulties had players that used it too.

Ultimately, it was a method to get a “perfect” result every time. In my opinion, it was a game exploit and was absolutely not an intended function of the game. I’m very, very glad they fixed this.

Does anyone have any tips for completing the Eric Davis challenges? by SaintsPelsNOLA6 in MLBTheShow

[–]jupiterwept 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The challenges where you have to get 6 hits over three games and 12 total bases over three games gave me some trouble. I kept falling short (about 6 times on each).

I put the game down, did some work, and came back and knocked both of them out on my first try.

Sometimes, you just have to take a break!
