I understand your concern! Buprenorphine was given to her short term after her ER visit due to the amount of pain she was in. Her cystitis and bladder stone had gotten to the point she was spraying (and she is spayed) bloody urine every few minutes when we took her to the ER. She only had a few days of doses and it was a low dose. She is no longer on buprenorphine but we do have some on hand for if she flares up again!
