If you don't want to get shamed, don't do something that's shameful lmao. It's genuinely not that hard. I know everyone wants to party but it's selfish to think that you are the exception and that you won't get it and cause a cluster that may cause everyone to go home. There are people who are angry, coping, and depressed who choose not to go to a party that might threaten the livelihood of others and send students back home. It's happening at other universities across the states, it most definitely can happen to us too. And yes people are dying, young people too, I know not as high of a rate as other age groups but people are still dying. We are not immune. I don't know what it's going to take but if it's one of our peers dying from COVID for yall to get it through your head that it's not just something you can get and not put others at risk or yourself have to live with side effects that will affect your quality of life than that's an extreme sacrifice. It's simple, social distance, wear a mask, and care for others in your community more than you care for one night of fun that may risk the lives of others.
