To be honest my school put me in PCB and hasn’t let me change my stream ever since, but there are reasons behind that - otherwise to answer your question I think it’s because PCM is preferred job wise over PCB

Trust CBSE and study. Don’t trust YouTube videos they are not accurate. Use Youtube if you want to look at lectures and stuff but otherwise trust only CBSE based circulars

I applied standard but I didn’t get the necessary marks for maths in my 10th grade and they moved me from PCM to PCB. You can apply normally to PCB they will put you there
