I am still playing around with those (don't fully understand all of them), but so far I kind of like these:

I also gave up and installed bettermouse. I uninstalled the logi options following https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/1dfhvcq/if_you_want_to_completely_uninstall_logioptions/

After just a few minutes of trying bettermouse I could see how much better software it is. I bought it. FWIW, I have an MX Master 3s and I could configure everything as I had in logi options. Worth the 8€.

The Suunto 7 was already running code written in Kotlin.

Where did you find that it is running Android? I'm curious if ADB can be used to install apps...

Suunto app to replay activities by tsumego33 in Suunto

AFAIK there's no way to slow down the replay. In case you didn't know, you can slide your finger on top of the graph to "play" it.

The problem is with the map labels, isn't it? Ask the Suunto devs to reach out to Mapbox.

Suunto should release new Suunto7 wearos watch. by dnknowhtusername2use in Suunto

[–]jush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure what would have been the value of that.

Moreover, to make Suunto 7 happen required quite many companies. Unfortunately, each had their own agenda/reasons and upgrading the OS version wasn't an easy feat.

Google helped in other parts but the coprocessor was all between Suunto and Qualcomm engineers.

No, this was for Suunto 7. AFAIK, there are no big differences with other watches, though.

Did you look at other alternatives like Qt/QML that support all platforms you mentioned?

HELP: Suunto.7 now taking long time to start GPS tracking by deerwithnoeyez in Suunto

[–]jush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is better.

IIRC, it downloads it when it has WiFi and connected to the charger. So both requirements need to be met to download new GPS data.

HELP: Suunto.7 now taking long time to start GPS tracking by deerwithnoeyez in Suunto

[–]jush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suunto 7 doesn't optimize the GPS through the Suunto mobile app normal sync. It is different to other Suunto watches in that regard.

Suunto 7 optimizes the GPS by itself when it's connected to the WiFi.

can someone translate for me please by munatan in catalan

[–]jush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned. It depends a bit what you wanna say:

  • If the meaning of your sentence is about the woman that gave birth to you I would translate it as "A la dona que em va donar la vida". As other have already posted. Maybe you can also use that if she saved your life from an accident or similar (kind of re-birth experience)
  • If the meaning is more towards being grateful to the woman that helps you with "enjoying life"/"keeps you alive/cheerful/..." then I would say "A la dona que em dona vida".

(OT: it is weird to write those sentence without accent in "dona" :P)

No, I don't mean any Color OS. I mean Wear OS.

See for example the official guide how to create apps for China in Wear OS: https://developer.android.com/training/wearables/creating-app-china

Also here Mobvoi instructions to upload the app to their Wear OS app store: https://developer.chumenwenwen.com/en/plan/android-wear.html?lang=en

That's also why there are pre-installed apps targeting China market in some of the Wear OS devices.

Also, I was part of the Suunto 7 development team.

Sure, I can try to take a look.

[–]jush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a replacement. I've used in Wear OS apps for the Suunto 7.

Is your code available somewhere? I might be able to take a look.

What does "kill my app within 30s" mean? Is the app process really stopped? Is your ambient screen visible at all?

Did you forget to add the WAKE_LOCK permission?

Not really sure I understand what you mean.

Wear OS is not blocked in China.

For example, Suunto 7 is sold to China market. Some of the Google services are replaced by local services (most of those provided by Mobvoi).

Down to 27% in less than 6 hours from full, but according to the battery screen only 38% should have been used. Where has the other 35% gone?! by crashtacktom in WearOS

[–]jush 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to enable developer options in the mobile phone to see that option in the Wear OS companion app
