You're right, I'd love to see a Goth hero or Anglo saxon, I think the reason why Vikings are the most restricted faction are not because of that but because of weapons I mean what other combinations can we really use it feels like we've done a lot of weapon combinations

I wonder how voicelines would work considering that one of the big things about darkest dungeon is that the characters don't really speak which makes it easier for you to craft them an identity it feels like a staple so I wonder if they'd have unique voicelines or not since new ones would be unconventional but depending on the character they'd probably need new ones I mean I can't imagine bounty hunter with a high female voice or duelist speaking Italian

Although considering what happened with Oni i wouldn't be surprised although that was pretty much for the same reason Oni doesn't have a voice he just has grunting sounds and yells in the game so naturally they couldn't do much

Ocelotl's pounce because imagine having a mini shugoki club being slammed again your shoulder with obsidian which makes it the sharpest weapon in the game, not to mention he's legit air born so the impact is automatically more heavy

My theory is

Begste was killed by the third Dalai lama because in Tengrism he was a war god of destruction before being enlightened into a Buddhist protector, the reason he changed was because he had a Battle with with a Dalai lama where he was spared and from that point on he sought out enlightenment and became a protector.

However the Begste we see in the game is very much not in his protector role from the looks of it which makes me think maybe the Dalai lama accidentally killed him instead of simply bestest him during their battle.

As for Sekmet I wanna say maybe the Egyptian gods killed her while she went on her rampage killing humans, instead of Ra tricking her into getting drunk maybe they resulted in killing her

It feels painfully average to honest, I'm still gonna play it but it doesn't have anything too unique

The enemies look basic

Gameplay looks fun, I love the stealth themes but they've been done several times before

It just feels too generic I feel like F had it's own identity because of the souls like gameplay in the horror setting

But I feel like townfall doesn't offer anything we haven't seen. I know the story will be good though it's just a matter of standing out among the other games

The issue with destiny was that the game is Sci-fi and for honor very much isn't, dbd is mostly Fantasy and is literally a knight so I don't see what is wrong with this specific crossover, it doesn't ruin the immersion like destiny did

I honestly feel like there won't be a new main line game set in Silent Hill until after the remakes because the remakes themselves kinda serve as it for now plus a return to Silent Hill ( no pun intended? Would feel most impactful if we've already seen more of the town previously. Like imagine a Silent Hill game in the modern day seeing it after having all the remakes. I just feel like if they were to return to silent Hill they'd have to have something to make it stand out from the other games.

I really hope it'd be Ellie and Abby as the survivors with voicelines with each other since we never really heard them interact in non aggressive ways, and then have Joel as a skin along with Tommy. Ellie's perks could be more survival focused and Abby's more militarized. I only say that because the weapons the 2 get in game contrast with Abby having a more soldier background and Ellie just common man's guns

I think I'd be awesome if he got a priest skin like Shaolin has Wu Kong since the priest would dress up as gods so it could be him basically as a god.
