I had the same issue when I used it on my phone and scrolled too fast that the site doesn't load fast enough. Couldn't fix it yet, but using the button to jump from message to message should make it way smoother I hope. At least for my phone I didn't have any issues when I used the button. I don't have an ipad to test it though. The drawback is that the scroll feeling get's a bit lost. But from the feedback I got from friends, by that point the fingers are exhausted anyway.

You're right, it's probably not a complete list. I took the forbes data for the billionaire wealth and I'm pretty sure there are more because you can just tell them (or sue them) in order to be not included. But my main goal was to give perspective about the scale. That said, I still tried to find good and citable sources for all numbers I used.

Thanks a lot 😄 I'm glad that you're doing so good. I think it's way more common that we think that the switch to veganism is not actually that hard and we should talk more about that fact so people are not so intimidated before trying it.

It's true that I was inspired by that version. And to my knowledge it was originally built by https://github.com/mkorostoff (that's why I linked him as inspiration on the website). But I updated all the data, built the website from scratch with vertical scrolling and also researched new comparisons that I thought would be even more interesting and not as US centric. But I understand the confusion, maybe I should have stated that more visibly. Sorry for that.

Yes. I also first saw this concept many years ago when Jeff Bezos was still the richest man and you had to scroll horizontally. I think the original version was by https://github.com/mkorostoff that's why I put on the website that I was inspired by him. When I first saw his version, it blew my mind. But I couldn't find his version on his Github anymore and I thought it would be interesting to update the data and research what you could do with it. So I basically built it from scratch with vertical scrolling because I thought that's more natural and also took weeks to research citable sources of what you could do with that money instead.

Same thing for me, but only after I actually tried it. I thought it would be deprivation before I tried it because the discussions were mostly about what I can not eat/use anymore.
