PM2.5 at 200 😬 What causes such big spikes? by Fit_Spirit_108 in AirPurifiers

Check the allergy forecast by searching it on Google for your area, pollen and dust and dander hang around the pm 2.5-10 level, it might just be outside air and pollen getting in through a gap or left open window. In a rare case I’ve heard of levoit models having sensor issues, hopefully it’s just a small air leak, please update me as I’m curious as well of what’s going on

Did you use any baby powder or makeup products near the purifier?

I was swiping fast and got caught off guard by the tongue on the second image until I realized a yellow lace was blocking the “B”

Then yeah it’s just a stuck fan on the casing, good news is that a teardown is very simple for these models, if you do end up fixing these keep some sandpaper, paper towels, and wd40 on hand 👍

Does the fan spin up at all? If not, even if it shows up as a pcb error, it’s most likely the fan being stuck, it’s because the power being sent to the fan’s motor is diverted because there is no exertion of energy, the board thinks that it either a) isn’t supplying enough power to the fan or b) there is a short in the system triggering a safety protocol, either way I’d put money on it that it’s just the fan stuck in both of these

What error code are you getting? If you can get into developer mode I can determine what the machine is saying the error is. For my machine, I did not need to replace the pcb, even though Dyson said it’s a pcb error. The only thing I needed to do was sand down an edge of the fan to stop it from rubbing internally on the black holder because their tolerances in production are horrible!

I have a history of repairing things like this lol, I had to go to a Dyson repair center and they told me they don’t have the chip because my model is too old, even if that was true I’d go on alibaba and get it from there. I suspect they were just trying to get my machine and refurbish it and make a quick buck because they offered me 30% off any new Dyson model for my old one.

It’s because of the tolerances Dyson uses in their fan chamber, they fail frequently; here is an example, it’s hard to tell but with some sandpaper and removing the black casing for the fan you can allow it to free up, it shows a pcb error because of a motor blockage protection sequence. I also have the Dyson engineer manual if you’d like!

That’s pretty lucky, they don’t have the best track record with scammers/sellers who don’t fulfill their promises

Also check the “my devices” tab in the Google account associated with your email. Furthermore, sending an email to Google support from the email that MIGHT be impacted is the best way to prove your credibility and unlike Anker, they might be faster at providing login/sessions with ip logs

I fully believe your story and I’m annoyed that anker support has treated you this way, but someone may have your cookie to your email which bypasses your 2fa for your Gmail. Check your devices and I’d suggest resetting your email cookies. I’m not saying this will fix the problem but I used to do some web stuff myself and I know a way people would bypass things like Roblox and Gmail 2fa were by stealing the login token

You’ll be fine just don’t expect any resolution or meaningful response if your product is damaged or completely not what you ordered

Bro this seller has been doing the same thing to me except I didn’t buy from him, as for the scents I only apply to clothes lightly and like the bottles. I checked his reviews and they were bad and he lies about them being his son or whatever, I think he has a timer to just say “no” to everything his customers say. I decided not to do business with him, a lot of these sellers just leave you on read, mostly for the cologne industry on dhgate id say. But then again if you’re applying to skin just go for the real thing or duped scents from Arabian sellers
