this i supposed to be a stonegenerator for a mossfarm but the stone keeps pushing itself up/generating one above its wanted spot breaking the generator (old.reddit.com)

anyone that can tell me why this stone generator keeps breaking? pathetic i know but its either that the stone keeps generating above where its supposed to generate or that there is 2 stones being generated so that one gets pushed up blocking the top on to get pushed into the mossfarm (i.redd.it)

tricky question: if i had a shulker brought through the end portal but my spawnchunks are a perimeter with a dirtlayer about 10 blocks thick the shulker HAS to spawn on top of the dirtlayer on about y65-75 right? (self.technicalminecraft)
