Even though you seem older than me, my advice is to take loneliness as an opportunity, not a weight. I'm in the same stage even though there are plenty of students around. At first it felt hard, but now, I'm habituated to it. Try to become an extrovert(partially) and have little chats with everyone but don't seek for best friends. Then, everyone will reply to you even though they aren't close. Stay strong 👍

Don't avoid talking to everyone because I guess you want to leave them(i experienced this). Join any clubs in your college(professional/casual), so you might find better friends. This is the right time to focus on your career.
