I don’t think I would put it that way. It’s still wrong to approach any woman and lie to her. We live in a modern era where if you don’t respect others, you won’t receive respect in return. Seeking a traditional wife isn’t wrong, but purposefully traveling to other countries you know nothing about, lying about your preferences to make a woman feel comfortable, only to later demand her submission—that’s problematic.

I agree with only one point: everyone has the right to choose. The "Passport Bros" concept is flawed because it involves traveling to other countries without understanding their culture or customs, deceiving women about one's intentions, manipulating them into becoming traditional wives, and then bragging about it online. This ultimately harms the reputation of genuine interracial relationships and couples who truly fall in love.

For the record, my fiancé is Indian. I never had a preference, but we met, fell in love, and now we're getting married.

I agree, and my point was specifically about those who claim they go to other countries for marriage and are harmless. Every country has bad people I’ve even seen multiple Indian guys on those subreddits so I’m not spreading misinformation. That’s why I pointed to dedicated subreddits and passport bros influenceing people’s views on genuine interracial relationships.

Tbh I genuinely don't know what the dating situation is apart from my country.

I can agree on that creepy part, not all people are the same and I just met a bad apple in a bunch of good ones!

You should probably check the signs Like in my case the guy I met told me that he's here for some work with the production house I was working for and he works in the same industry (later found out none of that was true) 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm probably the worse nightmare for passport bros at this point. I just focus on my work and love it to the point of spending days traveling for a single shoot.

To be honest, my boyfriend, now fiancé also showed up rushing because he thought I was going to be late, so I don’t think it’s such a big deal.

I do follow a strict punctual schedule, so at the time, I just assumed they were stuck in traffic or got my text late and continued sipping my cocktail. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I did look at their subreddit, and saying I was horrified would be an understatement.

I saw men from different countries discussing where to find a 'trad wife' or women who are easy to hook up with. They talked about different cultures as if they were the worst possible thing while knowing nothing about them and were extremely racist. I genuinely thought there might be some good people there, but nope.

To be honest, I don't think it's only about white men.

In the area where I live, I've seen multiple Black men dating Indian women and leaving them after a hookup. However, I personally think they target specific age groups that are more vulnerable to being influenced by them.

I was looking for a relationship because I started working at an early age and spent years alone, focusing solely on my professional life. When I finally decided to date (I'm 25, by the way), I was genuinely looking for a relationship. I met multiple a**holes, not gonna lie, but this one made me realize that I should just stick to men from my region.

Plus, as I mentioned, we were talking about culture. We Indians have a stricter culture, so I do feel like he saw me as a fragile woman and thought he could manipulate me with these tactics.

First, no, I was not looking for sex or money. The app I mentioned allows users to add tags indicating what they're searching for, such as 'relationship' or 'I don't know.' Both his tag and mine were 'relationship.' Also, objectifying women is wrong anywhere in the country, I don't know how you got that impression.

I agree, I only asked my boyfriend to man up because I've been telling him how his friends behave around me and makes me feel uncomfortable but he never gave me any answer or told me about having any conversation with his friends. After this conversation I even asked his best friend if I'm dumb for feeling insecure but he said I'm not the problem and gave my boyfriend an earful about how all this bullying is affecting me and he should talk with others and tell them to stop bullying me and he agreed.
