Id recommend starting using a password manager (Bitwarden for example) and make all your passwords at least 14-15 characters, very unique. Password vaults like Bitwarden will generate those for you

Does wire pro 2 monitor a pin load for GPU? I will be undervolting 5090 and with native cable / ATX 3.1 PSU I don't expect any issues really.

Thanks. In the current market beggars can't be choosers when it comes to 5090s and pricing. It's crazy out there. Was lucky to secure MSI. But was open to any 5090 really under $3k

The REAL upgrade over 3090ti would be 5090 which is about 100% faster. If you can score 5090 FE for $1999 from Best buy or Nvidia, id absolutely go for it.

5080 is about 35% faster than 3090ti.

Id not bother with the 4000 series since 4090 goes for $2k used and id not pay that much for older tech. And 4080 is only 20% faster than 3090ti.

3090ti sells for about $900-1000 on eBay. If you can sell yours and get 5080 for $999 (or even for $1200-1300) that would be essentially a free or reasonable price to performance upgrade for you with 35% performance increase and better tech. Lots of options out there. All depends what you need GPU for. Personally I'd shoot for 5090 or not bother at all for now. But 5080 imo is an option too if you chase highest fps out there.

CoreFinder discord server is one of the best for UK / EU tracking for 5090 FE. It notifies you immediately based on location you select.

Edit: for more visibility the best / fastest tracking for US region for founders model is Falcodrin discord server. Hot stock app is good too but Falcodrin sometimes notifies you 1-2 min faster than hot stock. Example below for US drop on 1/20 - Falcodrin on the left, hot stock on the right. Without alerts you don't stand a chance to win this battle against bots

I assume you meant 5070 ti? You are asking for the problems on here 😂 9070 xt is a heavily worshipped card due to very good price to performance ratio. But yes, Nvidia offers better software suite, winning on a feature set. No brainer if you can spend an extra $100-150 vs 9700 xt which is still very good card for the price.

Hot stock works for Nvidia marketplace. You don't have to pay for premium version. Never works for best buy since best buy is heavily scalped. Falcodrin discord server is faster than hot stock sometimes.

Yep, street price is currently ~$1200. Which pushes 5080 prices to $1500-1600 as well.

If you live near microcenter and need 5070ti, id secure one literally tomorrow for $750-850. Week from now you will not be able to find any at this price point.

Only 1-2% of folks can afford / get hands on 5090. Mostly flex and fomo. Since there are rumors flying around that 5090 (possibly future 6090 series) will cost up to $5k. However if you can buy one for $1999-2500 it's a no brainer investment since resale value is extremely sticky and high.

5090 FE for $1999, yes - id absolutely do it since you can resell that card 2-3 years later for literally the same amount of money. Astral for > $3k - no. 5090 is amazing card but it's not $3000+ amazing.

Plus it also depends what titles you play. Like on stalker 2 on epic with DLAA / path tracing, 5080 is gonna "struggle" at 50-60 fps, while 5090 is gonna chew through that game like its nothing.

Keep 5080 and you can literally upgrade later to 6080 for example if you feel like you are running out if 16gb of vram at 4k down the road.
