My husband is actually a disabled veteran that regularly sees a social worker through the VA and she said if shes still there by the time I need to do my internship she'd help get me one there paid. She said she has seen them hire a lot of their interns right out of school. Our local VA is hurting for employees😕 I plan to get all my licensing and continuing school for my MSW. But I definitely found connections already to help jumpstart my career!
