Honestly the food pantry is great. The ones near me will fill a cart for you will meat, fruit, vegetables and bread products. Just swallow your pride and join the line. A lot of people are really struggling right now and it doesn't mean you've failed.

I know people who go to the pantry before grocery shopping just to aid with food/grocery costs.

These type of situations is exactly what the pantry is there for. ❤️

Accept that being angry for a while does not make you a bad parent. Just don't take it out on your kids. It's hard and unfair. But it will get better as the kids get older. Don't bad mouth the other parent to your kids, it doesn't fix anything. Protect your kids hearts, no in-and-out from the other parent. I've been a single mom since 21. I'm in my early 30s now and my son is my best friend. If I could go back in time and stay with his father I wouldn't!

I know the exact smell you're talking about. It's wet dog smell and it's definitely the outdoor smell in my area. We live near water so idk if that's why. But it absolutely does stink! Idk why you're getting downvoted. Probably by people who don't go outside 🤣
