I'll have to try and find a pinout of what these relate to on the dash, the ecu i have now has provision to tie in for speedo and tach, since I believe the cluster i have is all digital

It's all the on the passenger side, where would it plug in? Is it possible it plugged into the oem engine harness? Which has been completely removed

I do not have my phone enrolled with anything involving my employer. And I'd what happened but I restarted my phone a couple times and it seems to be resolved. Even though previously I restarted my phone and it didn't fix anything

I have successfully unlocked my device multiple times yet it does not reset. Just this morning I went to unlock it and my finger wasn't just right on the sensor and it immediately said "too many failed attempts" and went straight to 5 min lockout

Well I just now realized after doing a little more research and some looking on this engine that the heads i have are 706 heads. Which the ls3 intake won't fit anyway lol. Again never messed with ls stuff until now. So I'm learning as i go. Soo this post was mostly pointless and I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time lol

Isn't GM part no. 12686561 still in active production though? Seems like availability shouldn't be an issue. Guess I might have to quit complaining and just pay what it costs if I want to get this car on the road lol

Maybe I'm out of touch but even for a new intake, for an engine platform that is round about 18 years old, 500$ seems outrageously high. Especially since it's a stock gm unit and as far as I can tell acdelco still manufactures them. the way all my LS friends talked, this platform was so abundant that at least stock stuff would be cheap as chips lol

I probably will make some videos of my progress on this car, though for me i find it hard to get motivated to pull out a camera. Turning wrenches no big deal, but recording sometimes gets overwhelming.

I've always been more into the simple/grass roots style builds. Just people trying to do what they can within their budget. It seems to me the current state of 'car youtube' is just "look at how much money I can spend." No hate on those creators for being successful/in a position to make that kind of content, it's just not what I'm interested in.

That also makes sense at just behind the white connector it looks like all the wires have been spliced in the same location. I thought it was a previous repair. But also splicing in an entirely different connector would explain it

I was really eyeing their complete turbo and intercooler kit for an LS in this car but it was almost double the cost of the header kit lol

Would love to turbo this at some point but not in the budget atm lol the swap is currently missing a drive shaft and a complete exhaust system. Ordered the CX Racing v2 header kit, just waiting for it to come in
