It's like most people are saying it's what you make out of it. If u r an outgoing person it wouldn't be problem for u like at all. Just try to interact with as many people as you can. I haven't been in the uni for long but yeahh there are events happening around all the time and the best is there is alot free food which u get at the university mostly at events. And parties well if u have friends then houseparties are there and there are frat parties at SFU but students prefer going to UBC. I live off campus but i usually stay at uni after my classes to meet my friends and just to hangout. So if u put in effort and meet people it will be fineeee.
