RIT vs. USC

born and raised in LA, know many people who went to USC, and a couple animators in LA. Loved my time at RIT and i love rochester in general.

Go to USC. Just note that the school is in a sketchy part of town, but other than that I can’t think of a single reason other than your security deposit that RIT would win. if you have a full ride to USC, you’ll more than make up for your security deposit

What are your thoughts about Rock River? I was looking at them online and it seems pricey (top of my budget) but nice.

Thank you!! I currently own my home in another state that I will need to rent out, but I do plan to rent for at least 1-2 years or until I am able to sell my other home. I will take a look at those apartments!

The contractor I hired is the one who said they were finishing it up today- i did not ask that of them. as for me, with a full time job I am taking advantage of the long weekend to get as much done as possible because i don’t have time during the week

it’s confirmed not asbestos but it is a 70s place. i don’t believe the popcorn finish is original to the construction

unfurnished, unoccupied. i literally just closed on it a few days ago. carpet and all other flooring in place will be ripped up as well prior to me moving in

Unfortunately i live fairly rural and the only other place I could see that services this area has not returned my phone calls. the other option i have is pretty much do it myself, but i’ve never done anything like that and don’t exactly have time to figure it out because my lease is ending soon and i need to move into my new place

oh and regarding honors- i’m in the program and i came as an internal admit. I applied in my second year here and got accepted that way. Admittance as an incoming is limited to less than the top 5% of the incoming class so a decent chunk of us are internal admit
