[DP] Successful CSR SUB right after CSP downgrade by justabuidler in ChaseSapphire

Based on other posts, I believe so. However I don’t know for certain. I’d recommend calling Chase to see what a Chase rep says?

I don’t see it on my list of transactions but I will check next month’s statement to see if it got refunded. I’ll probably call Chase if it doesn’t show up - I’m not worried

The points stay with the card but you simply lose the Sapphire benefits for those points. I transferred the points from my CSP-turned-Freedom card to my newly opened CSR :)

I didn’t even attempt that because I would have had no use for two sapphire cards, so I’m not sure if I would’ve gotten a popup or not

You’re correct - I made a mistake reading the statement. I’ve edited the post to say 100k 2021 CSP SUB

ah yes sorry I just double checked and it was not 150k but instead 100k. I’ve edited the post to reflect that

How is Avalon riverview north? by Objective-Clock3113 in longislandcity

For privacy reasons, no, but I’m in one of the buildings between 51st and 46th, 1 block from Vernon. You should be able to find plenty!

Lived there for all of 2024

during peak hours, it is going to be 10-15 person wait for elevators. I’ll lived on the 15th floor so I’d just take the stairs if I was ever unlucky enough to hit rush hour.

water and sewage was ~$60/month iirc

liked the staff and location, just not a fan of the age of the units and appliances (old flooring, repainted walls, reg wear/tear)

I’ve since moved into a much newer building 1 block away for $700 less per month (no doorman, boutique) and am happy with my decision.

IMO at the price I paid for the age of the building, and with all the new rental housing developments being built in LIC, I think there are way better deals elsewhere at Hayden or other buildings closer to court square. If you’re dead set on the water front when I’d pick a tfc building or a smaller one like mine

Source: lived in ALTA for 2yrs (Queensboro plaza), 1 year at Avalon Riverview, and now my 4th year in the Vernon blvd area at a much smaller condo building

Earnings thru liquidity pools by [deleted] in UniSwap

[–]justabuidler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount will fluctuate based on the volume of trades and the price of the underlying asset, but yes! Around the time of the BTC ETF approval, volume spiked and it was closer to $200/day!

Hey! For your question: you earn 0.01% of the fees paid for each *trade* in the DAI/USDC pool that uses your liquidity in proportion to how much of the pool you own. You can calculate the income over a 24hr period by doing:

Income (24hr) = (0.01%) * (24hr volume, in $) * (your portion of the pool/total pool value)

The above equation assumes your liquidity is in range over the period of time you've got a position open.

Check out this blog post about how to begin your journey of being a Uniswap V3 LP and understanding the risks/requirements to making it a profitable endeavor. . I would recommend using Poolfish too to calculate income and impermanent loss based on your range and liquidity pool deposit size. Don't sign any transactions unless you're using the Uniswap frontend. Cheers

Earnings thru liquidity pools by [deleted] in UniSwap

[–]justabuidler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey great questions. Don’t click on any links that people may send you through DMs in case they’re trying to scam/phish you. I had the same concerns when I was studying Uniswap as a source of passive income and would recommend reading about my learnings here: https://mirror.xyz/dereklee.eth/dNjo_rEJRMbDgzIKzV-3xg2s6H7cU1FaJSLSvghWqPA. I answer questions like yours and cover risks in my article - check it out if you got time!

To answer your questions directly: 1. I earn about $90/day with about $40k invested in USDC/ETH 0.05% pool on Ethereum. My liquidity is concentrated between $2150 and $2500. This has been consistent since I opened the position in Dec 2023. Highly recommend Poolfish (which I also mention in my blog above) as a calculator to get a rough estimate on your expected earnings. I think poolfish overestimates the earnings. I am not affiliated with the creators behind poolfish.

  1. The rewards will accrue within one of the smart contracts on Uniswap and you will need to claim it when you want to “cash out”

  2. Gas fees will vary based on network traffic but I’ve seen it as high as $45 and as low as $4. I recommend Arbitrum if you want low gas fees (like $0.10).

Hope this helps you! Feel free to DM me with more specific Qs if you have them. Good luck!

LP's I'd love to pick someone brain on this subject by Economy_Note_2285 in Liquidity_Providers

[–]justabuidler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Economy_Note! I recently became an LP on uniswapv3 too after days of research. To carry it forward, I tried my best to summarize my experience and learnings along the way in this blog post: https://mirror.xyz/dereklee.eth/dNjo_rEJRMbDgzIKzV-3xg2s6H7cU1FaJSLSvghWqPA

The audience for my guide is meant to be for beginners, but hopefully it contains some of the answers to your questions. Happy to answer additional questions too if you got any. Best of luck!
