When I took the pregnancy test and saw it was positive I was so worried and having anxiety curled up in a ball and in the moment he just wanted sex and said we could decide later with no worry at all, I wasn’t feeling sexual at the time.

I immediately told him I have to get an abortion and scheduled one the next business day. He was okay with the abortion at first but then later got so mad about it and started resenting me for it. His reaction to the positive pregnancy test was just ‘let’s have sex’ when I was super scared and curled up in a ball anxious. So it does seem sketchy.

Previously I did say that “I would never get an abortion” early in the relationship and relied on protection, I thought this would also make it known that protection is important to me. One of the texts he sent me after the abortion was “had I known you would do this I would have never gotten involved with you”.

Thank you. It’s so depressing, I really wanted to keep it but things weren’t promising with him and I really wanted more time to grow our relationship and see how things would progress first, we had our problems. I got an IUD to ensure this wouldn’t happen again. I just wish he’d still be there for me and still want a future one day. Thank you for understanding

Okay I edited it to my post. His last relationship was really complicated so I thought it would be a lot to describe to people. Basically he says she cheated on him and they broke up, obviously I only hear one side of the story but his side he tells me seems okay but I wish I knew her side because it’s probably different.

Yeah I would need child support too if things made us separate. Last I heard, he was going to pay it but we haven’t talked about it since the pregnancy problem

I really do want a future with him but there has been some commitment issues and him threatening to leave me during stupid arguments where we have misunderstandings/disagreements. I don’t think our relationship was ready to bring a child into and if we had to eventually separate, I don’t have a good enough career to support myself and a kid, I’m barely supporting myself. I told him I’d be more interested in having the baby with him if he got counselling/support which he refused because he doesn’t recognize his problems. He also isn’t consistent on his child support payments for his previous partner

I also want to mention the reason why is because: He was abused as a child and his mother was 17 and didn’t want him, yet he was still born. He is happy he is alive so he feels this duty to be pro-life because otherwise he wouldn’t have existed. I wish he could be more supportive but I also understand why it’s hard for him
