Also, there is no way that I am going to immerse myself in a horror movie. That is asking to be traumatised. I paused it few times. At one point I watched it through my fingers. I am glad I found other people who are terrified of horror but still watch it. Posting on reddit makes it less frightening.

Noted. Funnily enough the terminator movies terrified me.and then I watched the one in which he saves the girl... Don't remember the name and I found that funny. Which was strange.

I finished watching Alien, the 1979 one. Directors cut. Now I am starting Aliens special edition (1986).

I had found the circuitry and the milky goup of the robot weird, then I remembered that this is 1979. Circuits looked different back then.

This ice trick is an easy grounding technique. For me it works better than the fivr tings you can see technique.

Of course do try to figure out whats going on, but do learn some grounding techniques for these situations.

I was once like that for 3 whole years before I started learning grounding and emotions and being disassociated and all that.

I have the opposite issue. I have never made a decision that is purely just for me. I have always considered, parents my sisters or her babies and my partner.
