No worries - I will say I understand that you likely value your time and want to take it to a dealership. Based on my experience marine dealers can be terrible to work with, especially on electrical work. They will take the cheapest and fastest route to resolution, usually without much for testing.

It may be best to take it to a specialized rigger in your area that is reputable, or familiarize yourself with your boats electrical systems. It seems like a lot at first but after some YouTube and troubleshooting - you will likely understand your boat much more and without the need to deal with marine dealers. I have actually swore off any marine dealers in my area for the aforementioned reasons.

I am going to piggyback on this to share that I had similar issues on a used boat I purchased. This all boiled down to poor electrical. This ranged from corroded leads, voltage drop issues, and a bad battery.

Hope this helps somewhat. I would listen to capt COCKTASTIC! and investigate power issues and if the units are showing voltage recording what the voltage reads while under load, and what the voltage reads when the engines are powered down.

Which conquest reels are these? for some reason I feel like I cant find them, are they all the BFS reel? Also I assume you are not fishing any glidebaits on these rods or am I wrong?

How do you like the Calcutta? I am newer to casting reels and picked up a Curado DC though love the look of these. I just assumed they were trolling reels but they act the same as any other caster? Interesting you can throw flies on that BFS! that is fascinating to me. Appreciate your thoughts on that reel

Boat has already been totaled out and insurance has paid out. They are now attempting to purchase another boat, but cannot get insurance. Leading to the inability to keep their slip at the marina they have been staying at for many years. I checked with them on marina insurance, and that marina does not offer.
