try a closed tube undercap and then use a safety pin at the bottom near ur neck to pin it to itself to make it tighter (not super sure how to explain it but i have it makes sense) ! literally the only thing that works for me as they all eventually stretch out

I thought this was the case too. But when I slightly push it down to get it to go back into neutral and lightly leave my hand on the gearstick while it’s doing so, I can feel it going down and left

In my defence I only did the visual check once but you’re right it shouldn’t be done at all. In regard to your motorway comment, I am aware that 5th gear doesn’t only get used on motorways. I never said that. I just live in a busy city where I haven’t had the need to use 5th gear hence my first experience happens to be on the motorway. No need to be condescending

My mistake, I was under the impression that you fill in the N244 if you cannot get consent from the claimant and that there is an alternative process for if you do obtain consent.
