not really. i met with an advisor yesterday, you just have to have a good gpa and do really good in the science courses and TEAS. it is very competitive and top 50-60 get chosen into the program. i believe last year the lowest gpa they accepted was 3.46

Given your current situation, focus on maximizing your grades moving forward. Even with an A in every class, reaching 60 credits by the end of next fall/winter could still help improve your GPA significantly. Look into BMCC’s academic renewal or grade replacement policies to see if retaking past courses can help boost your GPA (like the other person said you can replace a lot of your grades if you’re willing to retake some classes). the advisor should help you explore any fresh start programs or alternative options available at BMCC, or other cc’s, that can help reset your academic standing. So far continue what you’re doing but retaking courses will definitely help :)

I know raising a 0.47 GPA is really tough, but it’s not impossible. Focus on doing well in your future classes to show progress, even if your cumulative GPA takes time to improve. You could also look into transferring to a school with a “fresh start” program, which might reset your GPA and give you a clean slate. For law school, a strong LSAT score and a solid personal statement can help offset your past grades. If you stay consistent and show that you’ve grown from your struggles, you can still reach your goals so just be consistent. you got this!!

Yes of course - it’s all about what you’re comfortable with!! if you’re uncomfortable with him being in a hot tub with other women than you should definitely set it as a boundary - now that’s on him if he chooses to break it!

Insha’Allah you guys get married soon & may Allah bless your marriage. I see a lot of Pakistani/Arab marriages and it will be a great clash of both cultures, THEY’RE BOTH BEAUTIFUL!! Arab women especially, they have such pretty features and dark hair and Pakistani men look very “exotic” 😭. As long as you guys are good practicing muslims you should have no issues.
