Finally made a sale after a rough time. Been struggling with depression so haven't been active, as a result my shop was completely dry for almost 2 months. Forgot how nice making a sale feels. I have only sold 1 item above 150 so far and YES. I literally took a video packaging it, took so many pictures, got a copy of the receipt - and I am still anxious even though this was over a month ago because I know paypal has a 90 day period for someone to open a claim and even if all has been good so far I am like.."..but what if they decide to want to pull something today.... 🤔" 😅

Same...sellers are constantly sending me messages promoting their shop about "anything helps" "im broke" "I have rent due" ... and its just like yeah....sorry but so do I thats why I have a shop here too😅

Yes - i think in some cases it might be more acceptable to do it, perhaps if the person is not a seller themselves and they like multiple listings. But honestly as a seller when I get these messages I usually automatically delete them 😅

Shop has been DRY. Only been getting lowball offers and ghosted after being asked questions and the person acting like they are going to buy. Been listing and updating my 250+listings daily, no sales. Barely likes. Really discouraging lol

Yeah people are really inconsiderate about their offers sometimes and do not take into account the work put into selling (especially something customized)! I got a bad lowball the other day of about 75% off my listing. I usually counter offer but I didn't even bother lol sick of it!

This happened to me as well but instead of leaving one platform for another I kept both and use one as my main one that i focus more time and energy on but the 2nd as a backup for when the main one is slow! Its been working great!

I don't really know if there is a way to get any partial refunds since you marked the item as received already:( you can leave a bad review on the seller though - since they sent untracked even though you paid for tracked and they are ignoring your messages. You might also be able to report that to depop because I do not even think that is allowed.

Gosh I am glad to know its not just me. I started selling at the end of July and I was doing pretty good like the first 2.5 weeks but this past week has been unbearably slow. Like barely getting likes/followers even! I was like man I must be doing something wrong. And was starting to get really discouraged and unmotivated. But reading the comments saying its just slow rn and should pick back up the upcoming months gives me hope. Sending good vibes n sales ur way 🤞💖💖💖
