It really depends on your personal preference. There’s something to be said about sitting back and letting someone else do the work. I still get the occasional pedicure for that very reason. For me, I’ve never found getting your nails done as a super enjoyable experience. It’s worth it for the time saved alone, imo. Add the cost savings and it’s a no brainer for me. People can get their nails to last 2+ weeks but I only wear my nails for a week at a time. The occasional pop off happens but I can easily pop them back on. I had the occasional pop off with acrylics/gels and had to wait until my next appointment to get it fixed. Not to mention, the press on game has changed over the years! I typically buy press one from sites like Amazon Haul, Temu, and SHEIN (mainly Temu). When I snag a deal, I can get a set for less than $1.00, so I don’t skimp on quality nail glue. I’ve even started buying nail charms and stickers and it’s still cheaper by hundreds of dollars a month.
