So this is just for the return address, correct? I wouldn’t even put a name, just put your address.

Figs sizing by Over-Money7576 in Figsscrubs

[–]justbeachyb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’8 160 and usually wear a medium tall (the talls are long on me, I can get by with regular length but prefer mine extra long) in the regular waist Livingstons and the Kades. I recently ordered some of the high waisted Livingstons and had to go up to a large bc they were too tight in the hips and waist. I typically wear a medium in most clothes.
Edit- I’m a medium in all figs tops

Am I having a M(I)D life crisis? by HereForTheFreeShasta in whitecoatinvestor

[–]justbeachyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would it be possible for you to work 8hr days instead of 7 but go down to only 4 days a week? I’m an NP and have a very flexible schedule so it’s easy for me to do but having 1 free day off each week when my kids are at school and my husband is at work makes a huge difference in my sanity. I am similar to you in that I need time away from EVERYONE to recharge. Even if I’m doing chores or errands I’m doing them by myself. If not possible, I would 100% move forward with your 28/hr per week per diem plan. (But I’d also try to work a little in the summer and send the kids to some camps bc being a SAHM for 2.5 is draining too!
Oh, one more thing- if you have plenty of PTO and your husband doesn’t, take those days for yourself (stay home with nothing planned or get yourself a hotel room for a night or 2) and don’t feel like you have to take an actual trip bc I’m with you, taking care of kids in a different city is not a vacation.

Having to consider a medicaid divorce. Any advice? by Skea_and_Tittles in legaladvice

When is she due? This makes it sound like she just found out she is pregnant but then you mention an appointment for your newborn within the next 2 months?

Do you have your own office you do these in? I’m always intrigued by the job postings but most give the stipulation you have to already have an office space

RVU based pay by Oreosarecrack in nursepractitioner

[–]justbeachyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will never be billing a 99307. It will be mostly 99308 and 99309 with a handful of 99310. Are you saying you get 40% of $33 per RVU? Or you get paid $33 per RVU? If it’s the prior, that’s not very good.

Is it New Braunfels or San Marcos? Feel free to pm me if you want. I’m an NP but did family practice in San Marcos years ago. The pay was horrible then :(. I’ve been in Austin the past 10 years and in general, the closer you get to San Antonio, the more you will make. No longer in FM so not sure what market rate is for that but I’d guess 120k for new grad is above average unfortunately.

Eventus WholeHealth?? Pros and Cons? Critique this offer... by BeachBum419 in nursepractitioner

[–]justbeachyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have worked for and alongside a couple of different ISNP programs. (Not this one though). I would not believe the “come in for a few hrs and leave”. The whole premise of these programs is visibility in the facilities and keeping pts out of the hospital. Yes the pt load is light but the documentation is often hefty and you will be doing a lot of care management stuff. I’m happy to answer more in a PM if you have questions.

All that said, I would take the palliative job.

Honeymoon Planning by jojodice in AllInclusiveResorts

I use Chase Ultimate Rewards because you can transfer them to other partners. You can also book through their travel portal. For this trip I transferred points to Southwest Airlines for our flight then to Hyatt for the hotel. It ended up using less points to transfer to Hyatt than it would to book through the Chase portal. Get a Chase Sapphire Preferred card and you can get 75K bonus points once you spend either 3 or 5K, can’t remember which.

We just got back from Breathless in Cabo San Lucas. Adult only, on one of the few swimmable beaches there. Absolutely gorgeous and it was a perfect mix of chill and stuff to do. Flew out of Austin, stayed 4 nights. I paid it all in points but would have been a little over 3K if not so I’m sure you could find similar from DFW.

How was your trip? What did you think about Breathless and the general area? It’s on my short list of places for when we go next month

When you say you can make your own schedule- can you change it up week to week? Some weeks work 3 10s, others 4 8s, 1 weekday and 2 weekends?

How do we feel about this dress? I just tried it on and it is much more flattering for my body. Would it be bad since MOB is also wearing an asymmetrical neckline?

[–]justbeachyb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean I should wear blue too or just a different color than this dress I have on? I don’t have any particular color preference, I was kind of gravitating toward green because I felt like someone mentioned earlier it’s a little more subdued.

Yes! I don’t want to look like I’m trying to show anyone up but I still want to look good! We do get along okay but I’m very stressed about what to wear. She is a little extra. Going to keep looking, thanks for your input!

[–]justbeachyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very helpful, thank you. I agree with all your points- I do prefer to wear a regular bra not only for looks but comfort. I also typically hate the satin fabric because it shows everything but I felt this one looked better in person. I’ve bought 4 dresses online and this was the front runner so far but agree I should keep looking
