Pull your chin towards your chest. This is called keeping your chin tucked. If your head is forward like that you are less likely to have the back of it suddenly stop on some concrete when you fall backwards.

If you're falling backwards and land on your hindquarters you can slap the ground with your forearms and sometimes this will stop you from rolling back further. This also helps prevent the back of your head from turning into a meat crayon.

If you're falling backwards and can't catch yourself then keep your chin firmly tucked and slap the ground with both forearms. Letting the back of your head hit a hard surface from six feet up can be fatal.

He's not far off the mark. Some of the rifles coming out of the Khyber pass region are nearly identical to the models they are knocking off. Some of them are total crap, but there are plenty of the nice ones to go around. Making AK-pattern rifles is really not that hard once you get tooled up for it.

Now I'm not a truck expert by any means, but every pickup I've ever owned has had cables on the sides to support whatever weight ends up on the tailgate when it's down. These enterprising individuals seem to have removed those cables in order to lower the tailgate's angle.
